Privacy policy

Last updated 29 October 2026

This policy explains, in plain English, what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

Who we are

Darbry Web Works (ABN 81 367 020 876) builds websites and runs marketing services for trade businesses in and around Rockingham, Western Australia. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Darbry Web Works.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you fill in our website check form, call or email us, we collect:

When you become a client, we also collect the business details we need to do the work and send invoices.

You don't have to give us your details, but without them we can't reply to you or quote on your job.

Why we collect it

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the service providers we use to run the business, and only as far as they need it:

Some of these providers may store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard similar to Australian law.

We will also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. To show the text in our chosen fonts, your browser loads them from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your device's internet address. Our host, Cloudflare, also handles basic technical information (such as your internet address) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

Our clients' customers

When we send follow-up emails, review requests or social posts for a client, we handle their customers' details on the client's behalf and only to provide that service. The client is responsible for having permission to contact their customers, and every email we send for them includes a way to unsubscribe, as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) requires.

How we keep it safe

We keep your information in password-protected accounts with two-step sign-in turned on, and we only keep it for as long as we need it for the reasons above or as the law requires.

Seeing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us and we will reply within 30 days.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your information, please tell us first so we can fix it. If you're not happy with our reply, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
